They allow dogs inside the store, even near food products. Today I saw a dog brushing its fur against packaged items. I find this very unhygienic and unpleasant. Pets should not be allowed around food products. 🤢

. First visit to Gelson’s in Pacific Beach and it delivered. I was greeted right away and pointed exactly where I needed to go—clutch for a last-minute event run. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. And those sprinkle sugar cookies? Unexpected, a little playful, and seriously good.

Time to find another grocery store. The clerk service is atrocious. Once you reach the register, you say hello to the clerk, you will get no hello, zero acknowledgement. Like you're inconveniencing them with your $140 grocery purchase. Over priced items, probably due to the colossal amount of food waste. At the end of the day they throw every buffet or poke bar item, perfectly edible, into the dumpster. Fred and Neema are the only good and helpful people there. We've shopped there for months. Try to give some positive feedback. They will say, "Sorry! Corporate". With your exorbitant prices, IN THE LEAST, be respectful to you customers.

Convenient supermarket in the heart of PB. Decent selection of hot and cold food items to go. A variety of your standard fare of supermarket items of a more premium quality. Just enough parking but more than likely you'll have to find street parking nearby too.
